Reading Simplicity from exampleessays.com reminded me of the end of last year during spices week. One particular part caught my attention, “Simplicity is believed to be the ability for one to express what is on his/her mind in a plain and orderly manner.” This caught my attention because it reminded me of meeting for worship. When someone speaks, we wait 1-2 minutes before another person speaks allowing people to think about what that person has just said. I can now see simplicity in meeting for worship. You listen, take it in and sort it out.
Now that I have a better grasp on simplicity and where I can find it, I can now see simplicity in my school. In how the teachers teach us and what they are teaching. Clean, clear, simple thoughts put together make a nice presentation whether verbal or visual. I get it now!
Simplicity can also be used in everyday activities. Whatever the situation, observe, listen and take a second to break it down into a clear picture. Simplify it and you’ll know how to react in a way that shows your true self. Simplicity is the ability to be yourself in everything you do. Simplify and be yourself.
Robert, nice ideas! I especially like your thoughts about Meeting for Worship.
ReplyDelete3.5/5 points. You need to capitalize proper nouns like Meeting for Worship, and acronyms like SPICES. Be careful to write in complete sentences. For example, "In how the teachers teach us and what they are teaching."
